For its design, the BMUV has asked the public for comments.<\/p>\n<p>We welcome the ANK and the associated dialogue process. Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) should be considered as an integral part of the German climate protection strategy.<\/p>\n<p>The assessment and implementation of measures to remove, use and store CO\u2082 from the atmosphere is becoming increasingly important in view of emissions that are difficult to avoid and increased climate protection ambitions in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>A comprehensive assessment must be further developed in a transparent public discourse &#8211; taking into account new findings and framework conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Implementation must be closely accompanied by research.
