BECCS – a sustainable contribution to permanent CO₂ removal?

The German government is currently developing the long-term strategy for negative emissions (LNe). The aim is to prepare the introduction of technologies for CO₂ removal. CDRterra researchers from our BioNET project analyze whether BECCS – Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage – could play a role in this in the new discussion paper „BECCS – ein nachhaltiger Beitrag zur dauerhaften CO₂-Entnahme in Deutschland?”.
